And now there is an update! We are currently in Turkey. Marmaris to be exact. Located in the south it is a hub for boats due to the amazing cruising grounds nearby.
After spending the last 5 years in Saudi Arabia saving money for the new adventure we have landed back in Tasmania. Rick and I are both Tasmanians and grew up here. 10 years ago we bought a tiny dilapidated shack on a small beach just out of Hobart (Tasmania’s capital city). 5 years ago we did a small sustainable renovation that has given us a tiny home with the most amazing views. We have been here since early January and are now starting to pack ready to leave. Mid April we fly to Turkey to start the boat hunt in earnest. When we have found her we will place an interactive map here so you can always see where we are. For now…this is the current view:
